On the evening of March 30 2000, a news channel in the New York area, showed a story of a middle aged white woman and her crusade for more gun control. She was planning to rally 1,000,000 mothers, to march on Washington, in an effort to draw attention to her cause. She seemed like a very nice person with pure intentions and a burning desire for what she was doing. Twice in the interview she mentioned with tears in her eyes, that 13 children are killed every day in this country by guns. By the looks of her operation which she ran out of her home, she was obviously a very intelligent person. It’s amazing just how powerful the liberal media is, when an intelligent woman can be mislead so easily. I will now set her straight.
First of all the 13 children, are not children at all. If thirteen beautiful, little innocent 6 and 7 year olds were killed every day, we would see a list of names and pictures of every one of them, every night, on every station across the country. Don’t be stupid, of course we would. If that were a true statistic, NBC, CBS & ABC would cancel all of their regular programming and shove pictures and funerals and crying families down are throats 24 / 7. Wake up lady!!
The 13 children the media talks about are scum bag, lowlife, ruthless teenage gang members, who kill each other over drugs and other gang related garbage. The 13 children are already career criminals that would break into your home, kill your husband and repeatedly rape you in front of your children. Quite frankly, if the number 13 had a zero on the end of it, society would be much better off, a year from now.
The fact is, tens of thousands of crimes are stopped, in their tracks, every year in this country, because the VICTIM had a gun and was able to protect themselves, from animals similar to the 13 children that are killed everyday. The fact is, when the liberals succeed in taking away everyone’s right to own a gun, animals like the 13 children killed everyday will be the only ones with guns. Then we will truly live in fear. Real American Hero's. The Letter.
Sorry it has taken me so long to write, but as you can see from the News Baghdad is a busy place. I hope everything is going well back home. Things here are going. My platoon patrols probably one of the worst areas in the city. It has a healthy mix of poor Sunnis and poor Shias which adds up to lots of sectarian violence. I have seen more in the past four months than I thought I would see in the whole deployment. Everything from snipers to rockets to mortars to drive by shooting to car bombs and IEDs. Being here has definitely shown me the darkest side of human nature. The insurgents attack with no regard for the lives of civilians. But I have also seen the best side of humanity as well. I make it a point to teach my soldiers that not all Iraqis are bad and that they will always treat them with respect and dignity. The result is that in our areas people always invite me in to their homes for dinner or tea and come to us with their problems. I know of at least two instances where the local populations has saved lives by preventing insurgent attacks on my soldiers. We have had to ask the locals in some areas not to arm themselves and take to their rooftops when my platoon is engaged with the enemy because we cannot tell who is good and who is bad. They smiled and understood but they were anxious to stand with us to defend their homes. You can tell when you are doing good by what the enemy does. If you are making no progress he will leave you alone. As soon as I began to earn the trust of the people I began to be targeted. At first it was snipers and small attack teams, but they quickly learned that while my soldiers are great friends, they are terrible enemies. Those attacks did not turn out to well for the insurgents. It was a compliment of sorts to be hit with a suicide car bomb. That is the enemies biggest weapon and it showed how threatened they felt by our presence. But that day really showed me how inhumane and callous the enemy can be. They attacked us with no regard for the civilians around us. I remember picking myself off the ground and checking to find a little girl who was always near our soldiers. We gave her food and gifts and always made sure she was ok. I could not find her and was furious because I thought she was killed. Thankfully she was not with us that day and is ok. So it makes for weird relationships here. You never know who the enemy is our when he will strike. As a result every time you meet someone you smile, and talk, and think of ways to kill him and escape if it turns bad. It is tough to maintain your compassion and kindness in such an environment. It is far easier to treat everyone as a bad guys and exercise the power you have. Being here has taught me many lessons in the application of power. Wielding power justly means having the compassion and patience to ask even when you have the strength and ability to take. I think that is one of my best accomplishments so far. Even with everything my platoon has been through they treat Iraqis with kindness. I am known by name in many areas and my platoon is always being brought out dinner and tea. So my soldiers are able to where multiple hats well.
They children here are a saving grace. They are just like kids in America. They are friendly and curious. It is heart breaking to keep them away. We learned quickly that being surrounded by children and handing out candy is fun, but it makes for a tempting target. As a result we try to keep the kids away from us so they will not be hurt in case we are ambushed or attacked. But the children are great and remind of home.
I was recently promoted to 1st Lieutenant. One of my best friends here is my wingman. His platoon is our sister platoon. It is strange being here with one of your classmates commanding the platoon to your right, but it is a good feeling. Overall is am doing well. I have earned my combat actions badge and a purple heart for being WIA. The house Kaylan and I picked out is almost finished so that gives me something to look forward too. And of course I have our wedding to look forward too as well. I hope everything back home is going well. I hope all my little cousins are doing well. I miss all you guys. Sorry for the long letter but it has been awhile. Love, Dan
Opinion: I cannot thank Dan and all the other brave men and woman in our armed forces enough. I have no words. Yes, they are all just like him. If I were to post another letter from any of them, it would be just like Dans.
To all you despicable media bums, this is a real hero; not the degenerate actors, or the stoned out rock stars or illiterate rap artists. I received this E Mail from a young lady before the Nov 08 presidential election. It was so well written I left “as is” and decided to pass along to you. I hope you do the same.
I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking "where did the money come from for Obama". I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's life.
Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family.
My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap! to say the least. Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.
By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade"
by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented "Rezar" which Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an=2 0Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief adviser and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?
On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley adviser to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with Hamas", which controls Gaza (Remember the campaign contributions his campaign tried to hide under the state of Ga. which really were from the Gaza Strip) and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things".
(Basically what he said was don't make any deals with the current president but wait until the new President is elected and he also spoke to a high ranking military official and ask him not to make any major decisions about the war until the new president is elected.) I wonder who he thought that was going to be?
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those "small" Internet campaign contribution for r Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East? ( Like the affore mentioned Gaza Strip where it is documented he received contributions and tried to conceal them under the state of Ga.). My friends, it is illegal to accept contributions from anyone other than a U.S. citizen, so why was nothing done about this?
And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "did he make a mistake". Some mistake!

During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you
intended to visit all 57 states.
We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a
flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto
the pile without leaning over.

Every time you apologized to other countries for America 's position on
an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great
country.. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and
our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the
British Crown beyond belief.

Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to

in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled

this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.

Opinion: Thank you Mrs. Hackett. I admired your husband. He made millions laugh and forget the difficulties of life, if only for a short time. Both of you were also from America's greatest generation, one that gets smaller every day. I fear we will never have another as great. If you have watched and listened to this great American, and still think watching people dance, sing and play sports on TV is still a priority in your life, I feel sorry for you. America has been good to you. Hundreds of thousands of our Fathers and Grandfathers sacrificed their lives so your life could be as great as it has been. Tomorrow I will forward a complete list of the 36 Senate seats that are up for grabs. Some of these races are scary close, 50/50. I cannot believe any real American would still consider re electing (dingy) Harry Reid in Nevada for another 6 years, yet the race is neck and neck. That is how uninformed and uneducated we Americans have become. Hey you don’t have to wait for me!
Right now, goggle, goggle, goggle. Find out who your representatives and Senators are. Access their web sites and contact their campaign headquarters. Volunteer your time. They will gladly accept your help, putting up signs, handing out brochures, making phone calls, knocking on doors. Yeh that’s right, these are all things you can easily do. Get off your ass, put on a suit and talk to your neighbors. Get them involved.
The last few days of any close election usually determines the winner. You can bet the socialist candidates will have their armies working 24/7, across the country over the weekend. What will you do? Clean out the garage.
I am asking you give your country these last 6 days. You owe her at least that much. You owe your children and grandchildren as well.

ONE) This teacher is truly a genius!
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Opinion: Could not be any simpler than that. As the late Adrian Rogers said, "you cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." If this needs additional clarification, do us all a favor and drive north in the southbound lane.
TWO) Don't ever forget this!
It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the
third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator;
'Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?'
Ollie replied, 'Yes, I did, Sir.'
The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, 'Isn't that just a little excessive?'
'No, sir,' continued Ollie.
'No? And why not?' the senator asked.
'Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir.'
'Threatened? By whom?' the senator questioned.
'By a terrorist, sir' Ollie answered.
'Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?'
'His name is Osama bin Laden, sir' Ollie replied.
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt.. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?' the senator asked.
'Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of', Ollie answered.
'And what do you recommend we do about him?' asked the senator.
'Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.'
The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.
By the way, that senator was Al Gore!
Also: Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him.. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called 'political prisoners.' However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, 'insisted' that all prisoners be released.

Opinion: Wow, it's reassuring to know there is still a real man, a real leader who loves his country, and is not afraid to say it. BRAVO, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Maybe you could find the time to visit the US and teach are pansy politicians in both parties the true meaning of Patriotism. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the above statement; on the contrary, it is the absolute truth. Socialist around the world however label this as hate speech and call the messenger a racist. It's the oldest trick in the Communist handbook, to demonize and destroy the opposition through lies and political Praperganda. It is exactly what they have been doing for the last 50 years to every conservative voice in our own country. That is why you rarely hear a true American Conservative politician, speak his mind or share his true values. They all walk on eggshells for fear of being targeted by our state run media, ABC, CBS, & NBC, who are powerful enough to ruin any political career they set their sites on. OH, by the way, did you know that in the first week of Barry's presidency, he invited the executives and top anchors of all three major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC), to the White House for a closed door meeting. Fox News wasn't invited? I'm sure it was just an oversight by the events coordinator; after all, it was her first week on the job.
Four) History Lesson
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1 . Liberals
2. Conservatives.
Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement...
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons.
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.
Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.
Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
